Who Is This Guy, And Why Should You Care?
So who is this guy?
His name is Pablo Donoso.
Why should you care?
Well, look at this picture. This guy was apparently testing Darren’s #14 at Homestead today. In other words, by testing, we may mean taking rookie orientation. If you look at his website, you see the title
“PABLO DONOSO SE CONVIERTE EN PILOTO OFICIAL DE A.J. FOYT PARA LA TEMPORADA 2008″
which, thanks to babel fish, translates to
“PABLO DONOSO BECOMES OFFICIAL PILOT OF A.J. FOYT FOR SEASON 2008“
Well, this one certainly came from nowhere. The caption to the linked photo says
“Pablo Donoso, piloto oficial Indy Car 2008 número 41.”
I think you can make out the translation on that one. Do we have another car? No confirmation from Foyt yet, but here’s a supposed quote from him according to that website:
A. J. Foyt: “Quiero a Donoso en la IndyCar este año”
which, according to babel fish, translates to:
A. J. Foyt: “I want to Donoso in the east IndyCar year”
or, according to my friend Doug:
“I want to Donoso in the IndyCar this year”
I don’t know where the east came from, but I almost failed Latin for three years. It goes on to say that he’s taking the rookie test, according to Doug. Hopefully he’s a little better than Scott Mayer.
