Pole Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

That’s what it is all about. Today, we’re here to see who gets to start the first lap closest to achieving his or her likeness upon the trophy.

The big news so far is that Jay Howard has lost his ride at Roth Racing for the month, and John Andretti has bought his way into the seat. The action is a commentary on the state of the team. They’ve most of their engineers, and now the young talent is getting pushed out by the name and his money.

The site of the day, besides the cars, was definitely seeing Danica. No, not because Danica is Danica. Danica was walking through the garage area with her typical swarm of autograph hounds around her. Behind her was Mario Moraes, walking alone.

    Hey,
    I told Graham on Friday about his son of stache nickname and the isitmayyet website. We thought the nickname was cool and was going to check out the website…..he had not heard of either before.
    He is a really nice kid and very accomodating to his fans. Wish the same could be said of Marco…..
