Where in the World is Kevin Kalkhoven (’s place of citizenship)

Though not really IndyCar news, Peter Windsor and the USF1GPE have said that they’re considering the FIA Cosworth spec engine (or whatever you want to call it) for 2010 obo

Now, the connection to the IndyCar Series is that the engine a Cosworth engine.  Cosworth, which used to be owned by Ford and solely powered the Champ Car World Series, is a classic name in motorsports.  When Ford sold off the company, it was purchased by Kevin Kalkhoven and Gerry Forsythe.  In fact, in the aforementioned article says,

Cosworth is now owned by an American, Kevin Kalkhoven, and that is a nice little link for us as well.

I was pretty sure he was Australian.  Maybe Windsor meant an American and Kevin Kalkhoven, or maybe Double-K got him some American citizenship.

Really, I could care less.  The reason I post this because of the first thing that popped into my head, and the series of images that followed, when I read this earlier today:

Kevin Kalkhoven, American Legend.

Kevin Kalkhoven when he was the American Gladiator named Turbo.

He never gives up, he’ll stay till the fight is won, Kevin Kalkho- will dare!
Kevin Kalkho-, a real American hero!

In Rocky 4, Double-K actually filled in for CART legend Joe Tanto for the fight scenes, effectively destroying the Eastern European Communist Bloc.
