A Sad Story of PCM and a 0-Day Race Forecast

First and foremost, I’ll just say the forecast is the same as yesterday, except cooler.

Thus, the official iiMy forecast!

  • Approx. Green Flag Time: 3:30 EDT
  • Television:  ABC
  • Temperature: 69°F
  • Dew Point: 48°F
  • Relative Humidity: 47%
  • Winds: East-Southeasterly at 8 mph
  • Chance of Rain: 0%
  • Will We Race: Yup

Also, props to TrackSide Online for throwing this across their wire.  Apparently the collapse of Pacific Coast Motorsports has resulted in Tyler Tadevic losing everything, after being shafted by the Mexico City tourism board and a Mexican appliance chain.  Well, he’s still got his family, and he makes it sound like that’s enough.  Good luck to Tyler.  I always liked PCM as an outfit.  Hopefully he can get back on his feet.

Race today.  We’re down to 20 cars with the withdrawal of 3G due to Stanton Barrett’s wreck during practice tomorrowyesterday (whoops, typo).  I really hope the team can get it together for Texas, but they sound as if they are moving forward.

That’s awful news about Tadevic. I hope things look up for him ASAP.
