We haven't seen anyone move from American open-wheelers and flourish on the world stage since Montoya, and he didn't even win a World Drivers Championship. I was really rooting for Bourdais. I would speculate that he will try LeMans cars next. Like Cavin said, he has nothing left to prove in America, besides the 500. It’s sad. It sucks to have been paired with Vettel for the first year. You can almost excuse getting smoked by him.
