In what I can only deem as positive news for the Series, Conquest Racing has announced that they will be adding Belgian-native Bertrand Baguette to their team from Barber onward.  I don’t know much about ol’ Bert, but I guess he won the World Series by Renault last year.  To give you a feel for who else has won this championship, Marc Gene (who just won Sebring this past weekend and Le Mans last year), Robert Kubica, Franck Montagny, Heikki Kovalanen, and the great Fernando Alonso are all former champions.

Perhaps most significant, though, is that Bert joins Mario Romancini, who kind of looks like Ernie (well, Ernie with Bert’s uni-).
