An Honest Confession…

Congrats to Scott Dixon for winning at Kansas today.

My confession: I didn’t really care about the race.  I mean, it actually wasn’t that bad.  There was some action but was by no means a classic.  ABC’s coverage was meh at best, but Marty Reid made up for it by introducing us to Silvestro de Simona.

Why didn’t I care?

It’s May.  It’s all about Indy.  It ain’t is it Kansas yet?, afterall.

Next time the urge strikes to click on this link, I’ll pretend I’m blind, too.

I think Silvestro De Simona used to do porn.

Hopefully by the start of Indy practice, Maddog Marty will have figured out all the drivers names.

    Danicker won 11th place today!!!

Sato Takuma was mad he didn’t get mentioned.

Wow, there is some delightful interaction going on here.

Not mad at you, Will. You’re entitled to your opinion, and I agree somewhat. Not the best race ever today, nor was it the worst, and I suspect that ABC didn’t do much to show the good stuff that was going on back in the pack (I’ll watch the race on the DVR tomorrow to confirm that). Anyway, it’s the other folks stopping by here I’m a little more concerned about…

Oh, welcome to May, by the way. It’s very good times.

    Speedgeek,

You followed me up over at oilpressure.com, (with a pretty darn good sales pitch for taking in a race at Kansas I might add! Now if I can convince my wife we need to roadtrip out to Kansas next year!) and I feel the need to follow you up here at Will’s corner of the world.

Love your post. Not going to comment on the posts prior to yours, though I agree with your assessment, but without a doubt…..it IS May is I can’t wait for Indy!

Looking forward to what Will has in store for his loyal readers this month!

It was an ok race. Best drive of the day mid race was Danica passing 20 cars after starting at rear.Best way to see if IZOD Indy Car Series is growing, it’s not all about Danica. I really believe the series is moving North.
